Today's sermon was titled, "Worry: What's The Big Deal?" and was based on Matthew 6:24-34. Here are a few things to think about.
1. Worrying is something that is very common in our world but the Bible tells us we’re not suppose to worry. (Matthew 6:25)
2. The opposite of confidence is uncertainty or doubt and a symptom of doubt is worry.
3. When we try to have it both ways and say we trust in God but still let ourselves worry our heart is divided. (Matthew 6:24)
4. How do we stop worrying? By seeking God’s kingdom and his righteousness and then letting God take care of the rest. (Matthew 6:33)
