Sunday's sermon was titled, "Praise God" and was based on Psalm 138-1-8. Here are a few take aways to think about.
1. We praise God not because of our circumstances but for who He is. (Psalm 138:2-3)
2. Praising God is a choice we make and should not be depending on our emotions. (Psalm 138:1)
3. Praising God has the power to melt away our fear, anger, bitterness and sadness because it draws our focus from our circumstances and turns it to God as we remember how wonderful He is. (Psalm 138:7)
