Today's sermon was titled, "Building On Our Strengths" and was based on Romans 1:8-12. Here are a few take aways from the message.
1. The early church wasn’t famous because of how big its building was, or how large its congregation had become. The church had become world-renowned because of its faith. (Romans 1:8)
2. A successful church is one in which the people live out their faith by encouraging one another, helping each other, and loving each other. (Romans 1:11-12)
3. To build on our own success as a church we need to be committed to God and to each other and one way we demonstrate this commitment is, as the Apostle Paul was for the church, by being devoted to praying for each other. (Romans 1:9-10)
