What We Believe
Thank you for stopping by and checking out our website. The following is just some of the things that we believe in as a church. If you click on any of the links below you'll be brought to The Wesleyan Church's website which shares even more about what we believe.
The Bible is God’s holy Word. It uniquely and infallibly reveals God’s plan for His people and how to live out that plan, individually and corporately. Beliefs, practices, priorities, and our mission are to be anchored in clear biblical teachings.
Jesus Christ is the defining feature of God’s will and relationship with all humankind. In Christ is found both newness of life and the highest and clearest example for godliness. People made new in Christ find Him to be the source of faith, hope, and love in both the inner life and in our outward actions engaging a world desperate for hope and life.
Making disciples is a clear mandate from Christ. This requires a strong missional focus on evangelism and training in spiritual growth and holy living. Done effectively, this will produce and promote growth and health in and among the churches.
There is intrinsic value in every person. Biblical unity becomes all the more important and beautiful in the light of the wide-ranging differences in personalities, cultures, races, languages, talents, and perspectives. Finding unity and mutual love in Christ eliminates devaluation and deprivation of life to one another.
Meet The Pastor
Life is an adventure!
Hi, my name is Chris Lang and I’m excited to say that I’m the pastor of Dundalk Wesleyan Church. I’m glad you stopped by, let me tell you a little bit about myself. I’ve been married for over twenty years to my beautiful wife Tina and we’re blessed with two wonderful children who are growing up way too fast. As a Christian I’m passionate about the Lord and I love serving God in a pastoral position which I’ve been doing now for quite some time. Before joining the Dundalk Wesleyan Church family I served in other churches in Ontario including in North Bay and in Kemptville.
Life is an adventure and to be honest with you I never dreamed I would have done all that I have done so far but God is good and when we follow His leading we get to do and experience many new and wonderful things. Along with my love for my family and for the church I love hiking, running and trying out new adventures and of course I'm a kid at heart so I love to play.
I’d invite you to come out to church sometime and take part in one of our worship services. They are encouraging, inspiring and they challenge us to follow Christ more closely . Being people of faith we’re called to do church together so come out, say hi, introduce yourself to me. I’m looking forward to getting to know you better.
